Join Cambridge Sustainable Food at the newly revamped Cambridge Museum of Technology and Othersyde for a celebration of our city’s diverse food scene.
Visit our riverside pop-up farmers’ market, showcasing the best food growers, makers and bakers in Cambridgeshire. Celebrate our city’s diverse food culture with a taste of dishes from around the world at our free town meal.
Rosie Sykes, a local chef and food writer who has cooked in the kitchens of some of Britain’s most celebrated chefs and at her critically acclaimed gastropub, The Sutton Arms in Smithfield, London, will be cooking Fideua - a vegan Catalan pasta paella.
Luthfa, who cooks for the City Council’s Holiday Lunches programme and runs a local women’s health project, will be cooking traditional Bangladeshi cuisine - kidney-bean, chickpea and new potato curry, savoury rice and onion bhajis.
And last but not least, Abdul and his team at Al-Amin Stores, world food shop extraordinaire on Mill Road, will be making fresh falafel, pitta, salad and sauces. What a scrumptious day out!
With 'Veg Head' drawing, collage, mask and painting workshops from Oblique Arts, there’s something for all the family.
