Help us to promote Healthy Start to the local community and support families in need by joining our outreach stall at Queen Edith’s School Fete.
Healthy Start is a scheme run by the government to support pregnant women and parents with children under four years by offering vouchers to help pay for food, milk and vitamins to keep their family healthy. However, the Food Poverty report, published in October 2018, showed that only 59% of eligible families were claiming vouchers!
We know that for many children in Cambridge, these vouchers are the best way to ensure they receive the best possible start to life. We also believe Healthy Start can help alleviate food poverty in our community and would love for you to join us to help raise awareness!
Our stall will be outdoors, weather permitting.
