Surplus Fruit and Veg Donation Drive
surplus fruit and veg donation drive
Is your fruit tree, garden, or allotment producing more than you can use? Donate your spare produce to CSF and we’ll make sure it reaches those who need it most.
Everything we collect will be distributed back into the community through local food hubs and social food projects, to help it reach people who face barriers to accessing fresh, local fruit and veg. Between August and September we’ll be sending out 250 recipe kits containing all the ingredients for a simple, healthy meal that showcases the best of the season’s fresh produce. Any fruit and veg left over will be batch cooked into products and preserves, which we’ll keep distributing throughout the winter.
We have two upcoming collection weeks:
24th-28th August
14th-18th September
