Community Food Donations
Could you help support the local community by donating food items, helping to ensure everyone has access to healthy food in Cambridge? We have a variety of projects that you can support through you donations, such as our Community Food Hub Network. See below for information on how you can donate, and for a list of what we currently need.
Community Food Hub Donations
Across Cambridge there are several Community Food Hubs supporting the local community, where anyone struggling to afford food can access it for free. Could you help by donating some non-perishable food items to be shared between the Community Food Hub Network?
All items should be within date and Christmas items should have a date valid until after Christmas please. We are not able to use home-made items, unfortunately. Any of these items will be much appreciated!
Currently we are in need of:
Store Cupboard Essentials: coffee, tea, olive oil / vegetable oil, lentils, rice – either packets or microwave pouches, jars of jam, jars of pasta sauce, healthy breakfast cereals, porridge, peanut butter, long life milk, tins of tuna, tinned beans, pulses and tomatoes.
Christmas Treats: Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, chocolate treats, biscuits, dried fruit and nuts, tinned salmon.
Thank you for your support! Please contact sarahb@cambridgesustainablefood.org to arrange delivery or donate them directly to your nearest Community Food Hub donation point (see below).
