Eating Local: The key to Food Security?  (Online)

Food4Thought Webinars

As part of the Global Food Security Interdisciplinary Research Centre’s Food for Thought Series, we look forward to discussing whether eating local is the answer to reducing carbon footprints while securing food security; if nations should aim to be self-sufficient in food and the external factors that enable or inhibit what we can produce and access.

The event will be chaired by Professor Yasemin Kor (Judge Business School) and speakers include Professor Lorand Bartels (Law Department, Cambridge), Professor Manoj Dora (Anglia Ruskin University), and Adele Jones (Executive Director of the Sustainable Food Trust). Please book via Eventbrite here.

This webinar follows the event of 17 April on the real price of food. You can find the recording here.
