The Food Power Story

The work of Cambridge Food Poverty Alliance is featured in Food Power's film, The Food Power Story, documenting the role that food poverty alliances play in building local food resilience and achieving food justice.

In this film, Sam Dyer, Director and CEO of Cambridge Sustainable Food, reflects on the journey and work of the Cambridge Food Poverty Alliance over the last few years, from the initial report looking into local food poverty, to the emergency food response, where the alliance came together to make sure no went hungry in Cambridge over Covid-19.

The Food Power Story is a short film showcasing some of the work delivered by Food Poverty alliances across the UK as part of the Food Power programme. This programme was a partnership between Sustain and Church Action on Poverty delivered with support from the National Lottery Community Fund between 2017 - 2021.
