The Big Urban Forage - Join the Autumn Challenge
THE BIG URBAN FORAGE - JOIN THE AUTUMN CHALLENGE
With Cambridge Sustainable Food.
This autumn, Cambridge Sustainable Food are on a mission to collect unwanted seasonal fruits and turn them into chutneys, jams and sauces. We hope to raise awareness of the benefits of upcycling surplus food and empower the local community with knowledge about the seasonality and availability of produce on their doorstep.
Join us in our campaign to save surplus fruits in Cambridge and celebrate the joy of putting them to delicious use.

All equipment and instructions for safe, sustainable foraging will be provided as well as tasty refreshments and snacks.
Please email volunteer@cambridgesustainablefood.org to register your interest.
Residential Surplus Fruit collections - 2nd - 10th September
If you have fruit trees in your garden and lots of unwanted fruit surplus please email us and we will arrange a collection volunteer@cambridgesustainablefood.org
We will be weighing all the produce we collect on the foraging day and keeping tally of the surplus fruit donated through the week, with prizes available for the biggest hauls.
All products we create from the collected fruits will be distributed to our food hubs around the city throughout autumn and will be available at our Foraged Fruits stall at the Food for the Planet Festival, Museum of Technology, Saturday 26th October.
