CSF is running a food waste workshop with KS2 (age 8-11) students at Bassingbourn Primary School and we are looking for volunteers to help run a ‘Disco Soup’ activity - aka preparing and chopping veg to disco tunes!

Volunteers will need to help with set up, assist and supervise the children chopping the vegetables and help with clean up. There will also be soup to be heated up and samples to serve to the children so they can taste the fruits of their labour. This is an energetic session involving dancing as well as food preparation!

There will be DBS-checked staff present at all times during the children’s activities so volunteers do not need to have their own DBS checks.
