Meet local farmers and growers in this family friendly event at the Museum of Technology.
As part of the Food for the Planet Festival, Carbon Neutral Cambridge and the makers of Six inches of Soil will show short films featuring farmers and growers from Cambridgeshire who are working with nature to regenerate their soil, grow food, boost biodiversity and capture carbon.
The event will bring soil to life and explore why it’s so important to the food we eat.
4pm: Panel Session, featuring two of our acclaimed short films and discussions with inspiring local farmers.
4:45pm - 6pm Informal discussions and activities. Meet and talk with local farmers, a soil scientist and the film makers. They will be there to answer questions and run activities to explore the mysteries of the world's soil and discuss how healthy soil is important to create healthy food and healthy communities.
