FREE: Climate Action in the Cambridge Community

  • The Guildhall, Market Square Cambridge, England, CB2 3QJ United Kingdom (map)

Do you want to find out how you can help to tackle climate change? This FREE event is one of the many events taking place as part of the Cambridge Zero Climate Change Festival 2022.

Cambridge Sustainable Food, Cambridge City Council, Cambridge Carbon Footprint, and Transition Cambridge are jointly hosting this event which will give insight into the landscape of climate action in the Cambridge community.

Following the fast-paced Pecha Kucha format, and using the ethos to ‘talk less, show more’, the event will consist of a series of mini-talks and a number of stalls to explore to give a snap-shot of local community projects happening across Cambridge.

You’ll get to find out more about these local projects, how they are tackling climate change, and how you can get involved as the city strives for net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

  • Fen End Community Farmers’ Group: Community growing and sharing

  • FoodCycle: Community meals from surplus food
