Food For the Planet Festival

  • Museum of Technology The Old Pumping Station, Cheddars Lane, Cambridge, CB5 8LD (map)

We all know the story of Jack, whose life got a whole lot better with the help of some magic beans… Now Cambridge Sustainable Food and friends are inviting you on an adventure into the wonderful world of beans at this year’s Food for the Planet Festival so we can all learn to be a little more like Jack.

On Saturday 26th October 2024 the Museum of Technology will transform into a magical land of ‘Beanology’ bursting with bean-based cookery demos at the bean counter, bean-themed talks, and a whole host of activities exploring the power of beans to benefit people and planet.

LINEUP

Beanspirational talks and cookery demos from: Nadia Mohd-Radzman, Waste Not Rowen, Vanessa Sturman, Luthfa Khatun, Sally Bycroft, Food Cycle Cambridge and Jake Piper.

Stalls, activities and arts hosted by: Waterland CSA, Paus, Cambridge Community Kitchen, Trumpington Allotments,  Museum of Cambridge, Waterbeach Waste Education, Cambridge Storytellers and Cambridge Organic Market Garden.
