New report just published: Young People and Food in North Cambridge

We are very excited to share the final report from our youth-led peer research project exploring issues and solutions relating to food for young people in North Cambridge.

In 2025, CSF commissioned taproot to support a youth-led exploration of food, health and community in North Cambridge, building on the 2024 Cambridge City Youth Survey, which found that 47% of young people saw affordable, nutritious food as their main health concern.

This project brought together young people aged 13-18, professionals, and community organisations in workshops and peer research from October 2025 to March 2026, generating shared learning, youth-led insights and ideas for future action.

Thank you to all the young people who showed up and helped shape this project. You were a fantastic, caring and intelligent group of people. This piece of work was created, researched and produced by you.
