Christmas 2024: How you can help

help spread joy and nourishment this winter

This Christmas, Cambridge Sustainable Food is once again teaming up with Cambridge City Foodbank and Cambridge City Council to distribute hampers, toys, and vegetable bags to families in need across the city.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of the Cambridge community, we reached over 800 families with provisions of festive food, toys and games, and seasonal fresh fruit and veg. This year, with rising demand, we hope to provide these essential supplies to over 1000 families - and we need your help to reach this goal.

Ending hunger and securing food justice in Cambridge is central to our work all year round, and the Christmas project plays a huge role in achieving those goals. Every bag of fresh fruit and vegetables delivers more than just food; it spreads kindness, joy, and nourishment to the people of Cambridge who need it the most.
