Sprouting beans and seeds – Skillshare with Anna McIvor (Transition Cambridge)

  • Romsey Mill Community Room Hemingford Road Cambridge CB1 3BZ (map)

Sprouting is a great way to grow your own fresh food cheaply. Sprouts are nutritious and delicious. They contain lots of vitamins and minerals, and are also high in protein and fibre. They are very easy to grow on a kitchen worktop or windowsill, and you can eat them raw or lightly cooked.

This workshop will help you get started with sprouting. If you have a couple of clean jam jars, bring them along and you’ll be able to take some seeds home ready to sprout (we’ll also bring some jars too).

The workshop is in person and free - donations of £3 to £5 will be appreciated to cover the cost of room hire and seeds/beans. There is no need to book.

Entry to the Romsey Mill Community Room via the play area next to the main door

This workshop is offered by Anna McIvor from Transition Cambridge https://www.transitioncambridge.org/
